Ramadan Appeal 2020

Check out our 2021 Ramadan Appeal here.

Dear Brother and Sisters,

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah, we hope this Ramadhan finds you and your family in the best of health.

As the coronavirus pandemic sweeps the world, thousands of lives are at risk this Ramadan. As we know, those most at risk are the people who are already vulnerable: the elderly, the disabled, the poor and the homeless.

Amidst the coronavirus outbreak, we wanted to let you know we are doing all we can to continue to provide medical services to those in most need. We pray for Allah’s mercy and for the wellbeing of all those suffering.

At present we have not had any staff or patients affected by the virus but like many hospitals we are facing great challenges in getting hold of PPE and other essential equipment needed to protect Doctors and Nurses.

As a result of the coronavirus and the new Government social distancing rules, like many other charities our fundraising activities have been very badly impacted.

In this blessed month of Ramadhan we would humbly like to appeal to all our supporters again to help us by sending us your Zakat, Sadaqah, Lillah, Fidya or Fitran donations to our charity so it can continue its noble work for the poor and needy.

The simplest way to make a is to Donate Now via our Virgin Money Giving® page. You can also call our Credit Card Hotline - 01923 336654.

May Allah, Subhana Wa Tala, bless you and your family for your continued support. Thank you.

Wassalaam,

Mohammed Younis, M.B.E.

Ramadhan Appeal 2015

Dear Brother and Sisters

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

The blessed month of Ramadhan is upon us again and I hope and pray that you are in the best of imaan and health.

With the blessings of Allah, Subhana Wa Ta’ala and your help, the Alma Hospital Trust in its own small way is helping to the relieve the pain and suffering of thousands of poor people at the Alma Bi Hospital.

In early March 2015 the Hospital hosted its annual 4 day eye camp. We provided general eye treatment to 857 people and carried out over 328 successful eye operations. In total over 12,000 people visited the hospital during the 4 day eye camp.

People from many miles away came to the hospital when they heard of the free medical treatments provided.

Later this year we will be holding a free Hepatitis health screening camp. Hepatitis is one of the biggest causes of ill health and death in Pakistan with over 10 million Pakistanis affected by Hepatitis C alone.

The hospital is already providing vital medical services to the poor and needy on a daily basis and with your help and support we can help to reduce the needless suffering of thousands of people.

We do not have any paid employees and all donations go towards providing free medical care for those in need.

So please, send us your Zakat, Sadaqah, Lillah, Fidya or Fitrana donations to our charity so it can continue to provide free medical services for the poor and needy.

Click here to make an online donation or you can call our Credit Card Hotline on: 01923 215663.

The Prophet (PBUH) said” The best charity is that given in Ramadan” (At-Tirmithi)

May Allah, Subhana Wa Ta’ala, Bless you and your family for your support.

Wassalaam,

Mohammed Younis, M.B.E.
