Eye Camp 2014

At the beginning of March this year, the Alma Bi Hospital hosted another of its specialist Eye Camps during which patients travelled as far as 200 miles to receive treatment they can't find anywhere else in the country.

Here are some of the figures that were achieved over the 4-day period:

  • 215 people regained their vision through cataract operations;

  • 765 patients were treated for eye-related problems;

  • 6,000 people visited the hospital during the eye camp.

Through the generosity of all of the patrons, the Alma Hospital Trust was able to organise this event and improve the quality of life of many thousands of people in just a few days. Without your generosity none of this amazing work would be possible.
